TESSELLATION – A structural concept that exists both in the analogue and digital context“Tessellation“ is employed for a variety of decorative and functional applications. In this series of textiles, the tiled structure serves as the basis of an investigation into human viewing habits.
Inspired by the blurry vision caused by old stained glass windows, it aims to recreate the same effect applied onto delicate silk to evoke a sense of space and dimension; a poetical glimpse into an abstract outside.

Tessellation

The rapid action of spraying leaves behind an individual imprint that traces the fresh color from the first to the final line. Sourcing from a collection of abstract and geometrical studies, the compilation translates these basic notations into a fine weave. By using the possibilities of modern jacquard looms the color appears almost wet onto the woven fabric. The towels are manufactured in Austria and made out of 100% Oranic cotton. The kitchen towel is available in two  colours in a practical set of 2.

Weaving is one of the oldest fabric technics that interlaces two or more sets of yarn.
The WEAVE collection enlarges and illustrates different types of basic weaving structures –  resulting in a set of colourful silk scarfs.

A thin uneven layer can be found on top of all surfaces, rendering material tactile and visible.The TEXTURE collection translates this sensuality into textile by little yarn loops which create a voluminous relief. Produced by a German weaving mill specialized in upholstery, the weave is durable and made for intense use. ― The cushion is available in two sizes and three colors and will be delivered with a custom filling. Average delivery time within Germany and EU is 1 – 3 weeks.

The two-tone towel “OUT OF TOWN” transfers exaggerated posing gestures, sourced from ancient paintings and figurines, into a vivid beach scene. The limited editon of towels is produced in Germany on terry cloth looms and made out of 100% cotton.
